I like the old one, and the simple design lent itself to some pretty funny polls, but this one is pretty good too. The ability to add more options to the poll after the fact is pretty hard to pass up.

They should make the explanation optional.
The option to add new items is good and a place to explain the reasoning would be good if it was optional though.
