If companies fail to deliver what people want people will make their own anime like with Touhou or edit the negroidic transvestite filth out and redub/sub to fix the poorly written dialogue. The WATATEN movie that came out less than a year ago is the most pedophilic thing I've seen since Kodomo no Jikan so I'm not seeing any anti-loli trend in anime and certainly no anti-lewd trend.

I have the feeling it's going to happen eventually. The guys who are dismissive of it haven't considered the passage of time, and how a new generation of anime writers/ directors may grow up on the Internet, and gradually become influenced by Western bullshit. I know many Japanese ignore or refute it now, but I have this idea that there will gradually grow an enclave of Westaboo japanese thanx to the influence of the Internet (and the fact that many cultural commentators on Jp and/or anime are now fags) who are seeking more 'progressive' values.

I don't think it is possible for a COMPLETE transformation to take place. Even if the big players succumb,countless small studios would explode onto the secene thanks to eventual advancements in AI.
