Tripfag spam on heyuri - Polls@Heyuri

To expand on my "No" vote, I've long been vocally against "blogposts" that are just emos & fags whining at length about how their life sux á la /r9k/, as well as endless "survey"-like threads - in fact I think I was the first to complain about both of those on Heyuri

I'm not against friendly "good morning/goodnight guys" posts or "today I did xyz" posts - there's nothing wrong or rulebreaking about those at all, and they contrib00t to the friendly atmosphere. If u haet it, you don't have to read or acknowledge those threads - same with anything else that doesn't float ur boat on Heyuri

"Tripfags making multiple threads per day" is not even up for debate, but if ever there appears an outside group who clearly gather and communicate on a non-Heyuri IRC, dicksword, etc. and are constantly referencing their own in-jokes, talking about things only relevant to their group, cooperating with each other to manipulate the boards, etc. - then that's lame and should be dealt with

It's been a week of page 0 being flooded by low quality threads made by namefags, especially Angel. It really lowered the quality of everyone's time here. It used to be a place to be

Angel is more entertaining than your complaining about them on /q/. It's like /q/ has been flooded on page 0 with nothing but complaining about angel and other tripfags

Although I prefer using anonymity over tripcodes (save for special occasions, jokes or staff-related discussion), I don't have any problem with people who prefer the latter. More power to them, especially if they contribute moar OC. ヽ(´ー｀)ノ

I am against blogging about one's private life, such threads don't have any creativity nor can breed any. That being said threads of Angel-chan or Nau's school thread r fine by me!

the newbs have a lot of energy and some of them draw cute OC. Itd be a shame to ban them forever, remove the lame threads only.
Their excitement is misplaced, we could tell them to move the blogposting to strange world, liek kaguya said, or force anonymity.

No idea why mods are so lax about these particular namefags. Not so long ago namefags were banned for much less and also their threads were often auto-saged. What changed? I know angel is supposedly mod's "favorite", but is that enough to let him shit up the whole board?

I clearly remember that happening, at least the auto-sage part. They were also never heard from again, so I assumed they were banned. But maybe they just left? Dunno

sure some of the newfags blogpost/spam /b/ but when they make legit posts people are mad at them too. they see the name/trip and freak out. just force anonymity on /b/ as a temporary measure and remove the blogposts. only ban the ones who keep posting that trash.

Western culture nowadays doesn't mix well with imageboards simply because everything is hyper-individualistic. The point is to be anonymous. Stop trying to mix your individualism in, it will be the downfall of Heyuri.

Funnily enough, that's more of a 4chan thing than a Japanese thing - most Japanese imageboards and bulletin boards outside of Futaba & 5ch use names and/or tripcodes, and tripcodes were invented and popularized by 2channel. Japanese bulletin boards weren't intended to be anonymous (many even force you to enter a name), they simply didn't move away from the registrationless nature of the pre-forum web

Name and trip users were the freaking start of Heyuri and long-been a core part of its culture - if anything, it's "anons" from 4chan who've been bringing it down lately. Lurk moar!

I actually don't notice them at times. Especially on Strange World.

Either this or forced anonymity. These aren't even the good kind of namefags, they don't contribute any quality OC, or improve the board.

tripfags are important to be annoying we need annoying people to have names

there should be an error message that says "you already made a thread this week fag" when a tripfag tries to make multiple threads per week

you could just remove the name field. then you wouldn't even need the little Anonymous label at the top of each post. if you want to tell people about your life in a long-term format, an actual blog would be better. then we can all chat in the comment sections for your posts <3

The reason why 4chan was anonymous was because they thought it was easier to civilize, but we arent 4chan and i also can point other comment who said something similar, its one of the things that were an error, if you are annoyed by it simply for being, or for thinking it is“ego”, maybe the problem is with >you<, and if it is with them, it is a thing to deal with, anonimity is cowardy and internal issue, just dont feed the trolls.
