Where's a good place to get images apart from the major search engines?

I need some images for an assignment. I was supposed to take them myself, but it's too late for that now, so my only hope is to get together some stock images-- only, our teach is kind of a tech savvy guy and assured us that he would be able to tell if we scraped some images off of Google or Bing or DuckDuckGo or those stock image sites. Any ideas?（ ’～’）

I was thinking about posting about this. When I want to find a visually appealing image of something, or relating to something, I search it into the filename field of 4plebs or desuarchive.
