Funny thing is, this used to be a thing artists could kinda get away with back in the day. Like I as reading up on Egon Schiele recently, and apparently when he set up shop in a small town his studio became a 'safe haven' for the local children, many of whom served as his models, even for nude works.

If u cover up their oversized heads, most depictions of loli are revealed to have teh proportions of flat/small-breasted adult females (albeit scaled down). Wide hips, fat thighs, smooth flat belly, adult-shaped belly button, etc.

Some artists depict more realistic lolis, but I think many nijikon find it off-putting

It's not about realism! It's about treating the form of the subject itself, instead of treating a substitute for it. And with that, you can have as much stylisation as you like. Kishi Takuya here is a good example.
