If the difference was obvious, are u sure they were the same color temperature? Not just "warm", cuz the difference between 2700K and 3000K (both sold as "warm") is indeed very obvious

yes. same exact color temp. i'm an expert on this topic so i wouldn't make that mistake. i used a philips led with the highest cri available (95ish). i use philips incandescents as well because they're the highest quality available (but i'd rather use the lowest quality incandescent than the highest quality led). the light that led casts simply looks artificial compared to incandescent. the only real argument people have against incandescents are "efficiency" which literally means nothing to me. i don't care how "efficient" my light bulbs are at producing light. i only care about the quality of light they produce. plus they don't even last longer anymore as many try to claim because they're designed to break after a year. i generally get at least two years out of my incandescents.

plus when i first moved into my apartment i discovered that the ceiling fan in the dining area was one of those designed for leds so it could only take low wattage bulbs so i had these high cri philips leds in it for a little over a year and when the living room and dining area lights were both on you could definitely see the difference despite being the same color temp and lumens. i eventually put night light bulbs in the dining area because i couldn't stand it and dim incandescent lighting is better than bright led lighting.

plus it's not like cri is a trivial thing. lower cri means less color and less depth. there's obviously going to be a difference if the cri is lower and the cri of incandescent light is unmatched by even the best leds.

gameplay is fun. i never played armored core but i imagine its a loli version of it with dark souls map progression. i am surprised and overwhelmed by customization options. i will not play it right now though, it could use some patching. its way too ugly to run this poorly
