Honestly, despite using 4chan since 2005, I've mostly just lurked any of the larger boards. Posting seems pointless to me, just like how stream chats are pointless spamming. Glad /po/ and /diy/ are back though

I think we have a decent idea of network communication in the 80s thanks to Usenet, and obviously a great number of people are interested in the 2000s as 'old internet' but I feel like the 1990s are something of a forgotten decade, at least from my perspective. I suppose I could just set my email reader to look at Usenet posts from the 90s, but I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any other repositories or still active sites?

wiby sucks if you don't because all the people hanging onto oldschool web design lack sincerity -- they aren't being ironic, but they're not really expressing themselves either like the classic pages of long ago
instead, they're expressing the design sentiments of long ago (but turned up to 11 because ultimately, these are still modern web pages) without actually putting their own self into it

Wiby wasn't made to index ancient webpages, it's purpose is to make finding human-written, non-corporate and simple (from a software standpoint) sites easier, which should be the norm for search engines but isn't. Silly larpy websites like this one are just a consequence of that. If by oldschool web design you mean making pages using HTML/CSS, then you're wrong, because all static pages should be made like that, and people who know their internets never stopped doing them. You're making a great injustice to the hundreds of genuine hobby websites out there with this gross generalization.

it's time to make game. i will use Heyuri's Lounge to blog about the game's process. this will be my 9th attempt to make my game.

my idea so far is to make a simple dungeon crawler where a loli explores a forest and finds a ruined labyrinth. there's demons and she needs to fight for survival. i plan to have the main character design drawn by today, and will be posting it here. hopefully i can created a little playable demo before the year ends.

HELLO HEYURI,

I am currently in the last days of my last year in high school (I am 18 y/o) and I am requesting some words of advice regarding my future employment. I know there is already a similar thread about the same subject on this board, but I do not know where else I can get any meaningful advice about my specific situation ┐(ﾟ～ﾟ)┌. While in high school I realized that I am a very solitary person (misanthrope perhaps?) and I hate being surrounded by other people most of the time. I get nothing but trouble from most people anyway and I discovered that I enjoy spending the majority of my time in front of a computer or doing other solitary activities.

Now, I suppose that imageboards (such as this one) are inhabited mostly by other like-minded solitary people that do not get any fulfillment from doing social activities either, so I request your advice! Perhaps an older heyurizen, with more experience in life or in the workforce, knows a niche solitary occupation that requires minimal human interaction (if so, what are the required skills and how do I obtain them?), such as online jobs or freelance photography (or something else). Or maybe you might know some way to generate passive income, which is fine by me as well, considering that I live in a developing country where the minimum wage is less than $500.

I am starting to get anxious about my future, since I do not have any sort of concrete plan drawn out. People around me are saying that their high school years were the best years of their lives, which is scary considering that I never really enjoyed school. Hopefully an older anon has life figured out and can lend me some piece of advice, since I don't know what to do after high school is over and I am not skilled enough to earn a living in any domain of work (my qualifications are making lame posts on obscure forums and occasionally masturbating multiple times per day (;´Д`)).

our economy (alongside Finland's) is currently bork'd with it shrinking by around 4% since 2023 (;´Д`)
either way learning the language might be too much hassle to make it worth it, since the only things that estonian has in common with swedish would be some vocabulary
Finland is probably teh better choice since they have a large amount of swedish speakers and they're better off in every metric... depression

It's not a loophole anymore than having a company as a consultant is a loophole. You get taxed on every kr that you profit from in an enskild firma 'as income', whereas you only pay company tax in the AB, and income tax on the income you pay yourself (which you deduct in the company profit sheet). The combined tax burden becomes higher on the enskild firma if you make too much, but stays lower if you don't earn that much. The breakeven point is something like ~500k/year (i.e. if you earn >500k it's better to do AB).

No idea why you're talking about dividends here though?
